The Heylyn Square proposal provides 33 units on the site of a collection of small single storey redundant shopping units. In line with the surrounding buildings, the proposal is eight storeys with the top floor set back.

Private amenity spaces are located in the base of the block, and the southern units overlook the existing semi-private landscaped communal space. A new playgound is also proposed to the south side of the development in the area of the square least overshadowed. References have been pulled from the local context to express the vertical nature of the building as being secondary to the horizontal.
