Situated within a conservation area, an existing single dwelling will be replaced with two family homes which present themselves on two public façades, and incorporate a crank in the floor plan at lower ground to ensure garden access for both.
The proposals went through extensive public and local authority consultation which, along with a client desire for high quality detailing resulted in a new typology which subtly references it’s context and the neighbouring materiality.
